The growzen buddy app is supported by iOS (versions 8.0 and above) and Android (versions 5.0 and above).
No. Application requires a data connection to keep all the data updated between web application and mobile app. Data connection is required for login. If there is no data connection, you will receive an offline banner on all the pages.
You need to grant permission for push notifications and to access photos. Otherwise you will not be able to add photos or receive any push notifications.
You won’t be able to log-in unless you have been invited by your Healthcare Professional or MySupport nurse. The invitation e-mail is sent through easypod Connect.
Different types of notifications are sent through the app, most of them could be managed directly by you in the app: injection reminder, self-measurement reminder, transmission reminder, appointment reminder.
No. Appointments directly added in the app stay local and are not shared to the care teams via easypod Connect.
Unfortunately, no, growzen buddy is not supported on iPad for the moment.
All patient data coming from growzen buddy and easypod Connect is hosted according to highest health data hosting standards. Thus, we (Ares Trading SA) are using Microsoft Azure, which is certified to host health data.
The following data is transferred: patient self-measurements (height and weight), appointment records created by the patient/caregiver, user profile information when updated (mobile phone number and email address).

easypod and growzen buddy data can be accessed by your clinical team and MySupport. In addition, authorised personnel may have visibility while providing technical support for the apps, in accordance with Merck’s quality control processes and procedures.
Data shared: Adherence information, Education materials, User profile information, Growth records (self-measures and clinic), Injection records, Legal documents, Appointment created by the HCP/Nurse in easypod Connect.

When you are logged into the application, go to More Options > My Profile and when selecting Email, you can enter a new email address.
Yes, by accessing the menu More options > My Profile > Manage Account and clicking on ‘Delete Account’.
If you forget your login details, you will be able to see the ‘Forgot your login details?’ link on growzen buddy login screen, then enter email address and click ‘Request pin’, then create a new password.
You have the option to enter past self-measurements by accessing the self-measurement section in the app and before confirming the measurements, simply edit the calendar and choose a past date.
No. All your self-measurements will be kept as they are associated with your account. However, the pictures you have taken will be erased as they are stored locally, as well as the appointments you have added yourself.
If you face difficulties logging into the app, the first thing you should check is the internet connection. If this is okay, we recommend using the ‘forgotten password’ link on welcome screen once you open the app.
This is due to the fact that your HCP has not assigned you a reference growth curves in easypod Connect, please liaise with your HCP or Clinic nurse to ask him/her to make this modification, then you will be able to visualise your measurements as graphs.
